Welcome to Community Forum (COFO)

We are a Local Non-Profit Organization that builds community-driven approaches for sustainable development. It was incorporated in Malawi in 2018 June and Kenya in 2022 March. COFO work with underserved communities and increase awareness of the uneven access to resources, care and give back by helping people in need.

COFO’s Mission is to work with community to sustainably improve their quality of life.

Our vision is to Inform, Empower, Mobilize, and Engage citizens for a high quality of life, including but not limited to high standards of education, gender equality, health, and livelihoods.

Livelihoods

COFO educates individuals and communities on how to improve their nutrition, income generation and environmental health by providing quality farm inputs. We show them how local available resources can meet human needs while improving their quality of life. READ MORE…

Health and Wellbeing

We offer healthcare services such as community health, Non-Communicable Disease prevention measures, HIV/AIDS psychosocial support, SRHR, nutrition screening, maternal and child health and other health education services in rural areas where COFO serves. COFO empower grassroots youth and groups to design and implement innovative activities tackling mental health, HIV/AIDS, Fistula, maternal and child care and SRHR in their communities. Education and Youth

We provide school resources and the capacity for volunteer community teachers to improve literacy and numeracy in primary schools and kindergartens in Malawi.
